Vercie Ferrow, 80, of Cameron died Saturday, Aug. 29, 2020, in a Temple hospital. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 5, 2020, at Lights Chapel Baptist Church with Pastor Leslie Dunn officiating. Burial will follow in the Cameron Rest Cemetery. A wake service and viewing will be Friday from 5-7 p.m. at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron.
Ms. Ferrow was born Nov. 1, 1939, to Viola and Brack Daniels Sr.
She had worked for Cameron ISD for over 17 years.
She is survived by: sons, Roderick “Jerome” Daniels Sr. of Temple and Aubrey Daniels of Temple; daughter, Vanessa Heslip of Bryan; 16 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home of Cameron is in charge of arrangements.
