Senior flu shot clinics planned

The Milam County Health Department has announced several senior flu shot clinics throughout the county in the coming weeks.

There will be flu shot clinics in Gause, Thorndale and Buckholts.

Please bring your Medicare Card Part B.  If you don’t have Medicare Part B the cost will be $30.

There will be a clinic on Oct. 26 at the Gause Community Center at 421 Prof Smith from 10-11 a.m.; Oct. 27 at the Thorndale Senior Citizens Center at 200 S. Cornelius from 10-11 a.m.; and Nov. 4 at the Buckholts Community Center at 110 Main Street from 10-11 a.m.

Cameron and Rockdale will be served at the Health Department clinics during normal business hours.  For these locations please call to make an appointment.

Call the Cameron Clinic at (254) 697-7039 at 209 S Houston Ave. They are open Mondays and Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to noon and 1-4 p.m.

Call the Rockdale Clinic at (512) 446-4026 at 313 N. Main Street. They are open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to noon and 1-4 p.m.
