Cameron Christmas Parade to remain traditional this year
The Cameron Chamber of Commerce will go on with the show this holiday season.
Cameron Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a Traditional Christmas Parade on Dec. 3 in downtown Cameron.
Chamber Director Melanie Reed said that the Chamber board decided to change the event from drive-thru to a traditional parade this week.
The event will take place at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 3 with the theme of “Christmas at the Movies.”
Stay tuned for all the details, but you can go to their website at cameron-tx.com to sign up your float, vehicle or other.
The Chamber will abide by CDC guidelines for a safe event. There will not be vendors on the square this year.
Reed said the Chamber is also considering Facebook Live posting of the parade, but that is still in the works.
