40th Annual Cow-Calf Clinic postponed
The 40th Annual Central Texas Cow-Calf Clinic that was set for Jan. 14 has been postponed.
“It is with much regret that I inform you that the 40th Annual Central Texas Cow-Calf Clinic to be held in Cameron on Thursday, Jan. 14, has been postponed to a later date,” Milam County Extension Agent Floyd Ingram said.
“Due to the recent rise in positive COVID-19 tests here in Milam County and restrictions set in place through Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, this highly anticipated annual event will not be taking place as scheduled,” he said. “This decision was a tough one to make for the planning team however, we consider the health and safety of our attendees, sponsors, speakers, and agents involved to be our number one priority.”
Plans are currently in place to move this year’s clinic to the second full week in April of 2021, in hopes that restrictions are lifted and positivity rates decrease allowing for an in person event to be held.
“On Behalf of the Central Texas Cow-Calf Clinic Planning team, we look forward to providing you with this topnotch event in the spring and hope to see you all there,” he said.
