Jerry Odom 

On Jan. 30, 2021, Jerry Odom, 86 years old, went to meet his maker, his Lord and Savior. 

Jerry severed in the Air Force during the Korean conflict and was awarded several medals. 

Jerry and Colleen were married in 1956 and celebrated 65 years together in January. 

Jerry spent 50 years in the drilling industry. He produced 1,500 oil wells in the Milam County area and most are still producing. 

Jerry and Colleen moved to Maysfield area in 1981 and still reside there. 

Jerry is survived by his wife Colleen; and his children, Karen and Ernie Glenn of Minerva, Karla Hale of Milan, N.M., Koery and Sharon Odom of Odessa, Kirby Odom of Maysfield, Carolyn Odom of Maysfield, John R. Odom of Boerne; one brother, Gene Odom of Odessa; 13 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and several nephews and nieces. 

He will be missed by his loved ones. There will be no service.
