County Commissioners name Mike Clore sheriff

Milam County Commissioners voted unanimously to name Deputy Mike Clore as Milam County Sheriff during this morning's court meeting.

Clore will be sworn in at the next Commissioner's Court meeting. 

He will replace Chris White, who submitted his resignation due to personal reasons last Monday.

There were four people who applied for the position. 

Several county deputies were on hand in support of appointing Clore at the meeting Monday.
