Albert Frank Matula Jr.
Albert Frank Matula Jr., 63, of Cameron died Friday, May 21, 2021, in a Rosebud nursing facility.
Viewing and visitation will be Tuesday, May 25, 202,1 from 10 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron. Private family graveside services will be at Oak Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Matula, a machinist, was born in Cameron on July 22, 1957, to Albert Frank and Patsy (Esslinger) Matula. He graduated from C.H. Yoe High School and had served in the U. S. Air Force.
He was preceded in death by a brother, John Matula.
He is survived by: a son, Brian Matula of Belton; brother, Joe Matula of Cameron; sisters, Cynthia Matula of Mineola, Carolyn Bowen of Lorena, Kathy Kirk and husband Steve of Cameron, and Patricia Hays of Cameron.
Al was loved by all that knew him. He had a great sense of humor. He has had a lengthy illness and lived at Heritage House for two years. He had many friends there and the staff and residents there expressed how much they will miss him.
