Railroad Museum Closed

The Milam County Railroad Museum and Old Town Cameron is currently closed due to the rising numbers of cases in Milam, Travis, Bell and Williamson County.  We are monitoring information from the Health Departments in those counties due to the traffic we receive from those counties.  We will continue to monitor Covid data and hope we can reopen as soon as the numbers decline substantially.  We encourage everyone to follow the suggestions of health officials by wearing a mask when appropriate, social distance, washing your hands frequently as prescribed and getting the free vaccines we have been provided to help stop the spread.

Railroad Museum Business Boxcars

Individuals and businesses can support the Milam County Railroad Museum by making a $150 donation.  Your tax-deductible donation will get your family’s name or business card placed on a special “Friends of the MCRM train” on the Old Town Cameron model.   Your business card will also be displayed on their webpage and scrolling display inside the museum.  Contact Jamie Larson at (512) 455-9591 to get your application or email him at jamlar50@yahoo.com
