Voice of The Yoemen

Bertie Shuemate was honored prior to Friday night’s game with Franklin as the Voice of the Yoemen and for the dedication of the press box at Yoe Field in his honor. Shuemate has been the announcer at Yoe Field in some form for 50 years. He said he has only missed nine football games in that span of time.
