Annabelle Graybill Henderson

Annabelle Graybill Henderson, 89, passed away peacefully, Sept. 12, 2021 at the home of her son, Barnie Allen Henderson and his wife, Barbara, in Burnet.  

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 25, 2021, at the Kathryn W. Green Chapel of Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Cameron.  

She was born on Feb. 16,1932, the daughter of Walter James and Grace Graybill, at the home of her grandparents, Frank and Iva McKinzey Kretsinger. A 1950 graduate of Smithsburg High School, she went on to Hagerstown for her nurses training and was an RN for many years. In December 1953 she married Barnie O. Henderson Jr. They were married nearly 67 years when he passed away last November.  

She is survived by one sister, Jean Eckstine of Cavetown, Md.; and five brothers, Jim Graybill and his wife Lois of Taylor, Johnnie Graybill and his wife Linda of Cavetown, Md., Robert Graybill of Hagerstown, Md., Roger Graybill and his wife Sue of Broaddus, and Joe Graybill and his wife Jeanne of Hagerstown, Md.  Along with her son, Barnie Allen Henderson and his wife Barbara; she is survived by three grandchildren, Edward James Henderson of Austin, Casey Bunce and his wife Alanna of Cedar Park, and Alyssa Simpson of College Station; and two great grandchildren, Alexis Simpson of College Station and Bailey Bunce of Cedar Park; as well as numerous nieces and

nephews in Maryland and Texas.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association online.
