Fire Prevention Week

The Cameron Volunteer Fire Department spoke to students at Ben Milam Elementary on Wednesday morning about fire prevention and fire safety. Firefighters demonstrated how their gear works. This year’s campaign is “Learn the Sounds of Fire Safety.” Fire Prevention week runs Oct. 3-9. It works to educate everyone about simple but important actions they can take to keep themselves and those around them safe.
