_{Patricia Ann Thompson, 80, of Cameron, died Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2021, in a Temple Hospital.}  

_{Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 19, 2021, at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home of Cameron. Burial will follow in the St. Monica’s Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home prior to the service.}

_{Mrs. Thompson was born Feb. 20, 1941, in Cameron to Adolph and Ida (Marak) Hertenberger. She graduated from C. H. Yoe High School.  She retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone.  She married Dewey “Butch” Thompson.  Mrs. Thompson was a member of Sts. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church in Marak.} 

_{She is survived by: husband, Dewey “Butch” Thompson of Cameron; son, Bart Evans and wife Cobie of Hye; daughter, Dene Bertram and husband Jeff of Austin; brother, David Hertenberger of Cameron; sister, Joyce Vaculin of Cameron; grandchildren, Brandon and wife Shalie, Cheyenne and Roy, Sarah and husband Carlos, Rebekah, Jaclyn and husband Blake, Jacob and Laurel; great-grandchildren, Pablo, Elena, Andrew, Issabella, Jillianna, Ava Grace, and Savanah; and great-great-granddaughter, Paisley.}

_{Memorials may be made to St. Monica’s Cemetery or the St. Ann Altar Society-Marak.}
