_{Lavon Marks-Schneider, 60, of Friendship Community, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2021, in a Temple hospital.}

_{Graveside services for Lavon will be held at Friendship Cemetery on Monday, Dec. 27, 2021, at 11 a.m., with Rev. Don Fulton officiating.}

_{Lavon was born Jan. 10, 1961, in Shreveport, La., to Billie T. and Mary J. (Bonin) Salley. She was a registered nurse.}

_{Survivors include: husband, George Schneider of Buckholts; son, Randy Marks of Bossier City, La.; and daughters, Lacy Marks and Lisa Teague and husband Stephen, all of Bossier City, La.}

_{Also surviving are five grandchildren, Mollie Petty, Mary Marks, Emery Marks, Tucker Griffin and Sutton Teague.}
