School closures and delays for Feb. 3 & 4 (UPDATE)

All school districts in Milam County have announced closures for Feb. 4.

Several area school districts have announced closures or delayed starts for Feb. 3.

Cameron ISD

Due to inclement weather and potential hazardous road conditions, Cameron ISD will be closed Friday, Feb. 4.

Milano ISD

Due to the inclement weather forecasted for tomorrow, Milano ISD will be closed on Thursday, Feb. 3, and will have a 10 a.m. late start with buses running two hours late on Friday, Feb. 4. Milano ISD will continue to monitor the weather and make any adjustments as necessary. We appreciate your understanding, stay safe and warm.

Buckholts ISD

Buckholts ISD will be closed Thursday and Friday, Feb. 3 & 4.

Rockdale ISD

Due to extreme weather conditions, Rockdale ISD will not have school on Thursday or Friday, Feb. 3 & 4.

Gause ISD

Gause ISD will be closed Thursday and Friday, Feb. 3 & 4.

Thorndale ISD

Thorndale ISD will be closed on Thursday, Feb 3. We will also plan to have a 10 a.m. start on Friday morning. We will continue to monitor roads and weather through the day and will make any further decisions about Friday by Thursday afternoon.

All Thorndale ISD practices and activities will be canceled for Thursday.

Basketball update- Friday's games at Thrall have been rescheduled. We will play Saturday in Thrall with varsity girls at 11:00 and varsity boys immediately after. There will be no JV games.

St. Paul Lutheran School

St. Paul will be closed Thursday and Friday, due to the anticipated winter storm. This early notice is to allow families the chance to prepare, settle in, and care for friends and neighbors in the upcoming days. We will resume our regular school operations on Monday.
