Martin George Susik

Martin George Susik, 101, of Cameron died Sunday, Feb. 27, 2022 in a Temple hospital.  

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, March 4, 2022, at St. Monica Catholic Church in Cameron.  Burial will follow in the St. Monica Cemetery.  A rosary will be recited 1:30 p.m. Friday at the church prior to the funeral mass.

Mr. Susik was born Nov. 11, 1920, in Lyons, to John and Aloisie (Petruy) Susik.  He was a U. S. Army veteran of World War II.  He married Annie Vrazel and was a member of St. Monica Catholic Church.  Mr. Susik was a retired service manager for Montgomery Wards and also worked as a mechanic for many years.  

He was preceded in death by five siblings and is survived by his wife, Annie Susik of Cameron; daughter, Margaret Herzog of Temple; one grandson; and two great-grandchildren.
