May Day Picnic planned in downtown Cameron

Discover Cameron in conjunction with the Cameron Chamber of Commerce is hosting an old-fashioned family picnic in Cameron downtown on the Square. 

The May Day Picnic will be held on April 30 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. 

You are invited to Cameron’s Historic Downtown Square on April 30 to celebrate May Day with a family friendly picnic festival. May Day is a holiday celebrating the beginning of Summer. Across cultures, it’s celebrated in the outdoors under the sun with flowers, ribbons, picnics, and dancing. But above all - it’s a day for our community to celebrate unity, family, and togetherness. 

Attendees will BYOB (Bring Your Own Blanket) to grab a spot on the square for their family to hang out for the day. We will have food, drinks, music, shopping, and lots of activities for all ages. 

Vendors are welcome; there is no cost for vendors, local businesses or non-profit organizations who would like to set up a fun interactive booth. We are asking that vendors plan something to engage picnic guests, especially kids’ games or picnic style food. You must sign up and be approved.
