Angela Evonne “BeBe” Scott

Angela Evonne “BeBe” Scott, 40, of Cameron passed away Friday, May 6, 2022, in a Temple hospital. 

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 15, 2022, at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, May 14, 2022, from 6-8 p.m. at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home.

Angela was born Sept. 28, 1981, in Cameron to Debra Kaye (Melton) and Lonnie Ray Scott. She attended C.H. Yoe High School. She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for many years. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lonnie Ray and Debra Kaye Scott; paternal grandparents, Jim and Ethel Scott; and maternal grandparents, Numon and Jo Ethel Melton.  

She leaves to cherish her memories: daughter, Dy’Keyah Scott of Houston; brother, Tony Scott (Lisa) of Cameron; sisters, Ebony Daniels (Charles) of Cameron, and Adrian Scott of Cameron; special companion, Jamey “Bud” Brewer of Cameron; special aunt, Linda Melton Cooke of Rosebud; a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron is in charge of arrangements.
