Jimmy Montalbo

Jimmy Montalbo, 77, of Buckholts, died Sunday, May 22, 2022, at his home.  

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, May 27, at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron. Burial will follow in the Hope Lutheran Memorial Park in Buckholts. Visitation will be Thursday from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Mr. Montalbo, a retired welder for BNSF railroad, was born Nov. 27, 1944, in Laredo to Adolfo and Catarina Martinez Montalbo.  

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Silvia Narvaez, and two sisters, Antonia Lopez and Victoria Lopez.  

He is survived by: daughters, Mary Ann Montalbo of Buckholts and Gerry Ulicnik of Buckholts; brother, Valentino Montalbo of Buckholts; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great- grandchildren.

Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron is in charge of arrangements.
