Burn ban reinstated in Milam County

At the request of the Fire Chiefs, the Milam County burn ban will be reinstated at 12:01 a.m. Monday, August 29, 2022. 

Milam County Judge Steve Young said that the Cameron fire department battled a large grass fire on Sunday afternoon and rain has not come as hoped for.
