It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas

Decorations have began to go up in downtown Cameron as the holidays approach. The entire downtown area will be lit up this holiday season with lights and decorations on the tress and downtown buildings. Several events are planned downtown this holiday season. Cameron’s Christmas Festival and Parade will kick off the holiday season on Dec. 1. Festivities kick off at 5 p.m. Enjoy Live Christmas Music in the gazebo featuring Cameron’s local favorite South 77 Band, who will kick off at 5:30 p.m. with music before, during and after parade. At 6 p.m. the Christmas Downtown Lighting Ceremony will begin with a brief ceremony before flipping the switch and lighting up the square with new Christmas lights and decor. At 6:30  p.m. the parade will start. A Sip and Stroll is set for Dec. 15 all over town to feature hometown businesses. Smore Holidays in Cameron is set for Dec. 20 from 6-8 p.m. with smores on the square and the viewing of a holiday movie.
