Yoe wrestling competes at district

The Cameron Yoe wrestling team competed in the district tournament hosted in the Georgetown East View Auxiliary Gym on Saturday. 

Brady Havens wrestled excellent in Georgetown to qualify for Regionals. His first match was against the number one seed and he lost but took it to the wire.  He then went on to win four consecutive matches to finish in third place.

Samara Garret tried very hard, but did not place and couldn’t qualify to advance. 

Adawnia Young won her first match and then lost her next two battles in competitive, hard fought matches. Despite the two losses, the effort was good enough for her to finish in fourth and earn a Regional berth. 

Next for Cameron Yoe will be the Regional Tournament on Feb. 10 and 11. The tournament will be located at Anna High School in Anna.
