Town Hall meeting set for Monday

 Milam County Judge Bill Whitmire has announced he will hold a town hall meeting for residents at 6:30 p.m. Monday, June 26, in Bea`s Kitchen, located at the Annex in Cameron. 

During his campaign for County Judge, Whitmire promised a series of town hall meetings with constituents. There will be time to ask questions and get updates from him and invited elected officials.

Whitmire held a town hall meeting in Milano last week.

About 40 people participated in that meeting with eight elected county officials on hand to answer questions and have discussions about what matters to those in attendance. 

Whitmire said these meetings not only give information to the participants, but also allow the elected officials an opportunity to better understand what is going on here in Milam County as well.
