Lady Yoe gain experience in Huntsville Tournament
The Cameron Lady Yoe volleyball team participated in an in-season tournament hosted by Huntsville over the weekend. The Lady Yoe had some struggles, going winless in the tournament.
Cameron played three games on Thursday; the first was against the Iola Lady Bulldogs, and Cameron was swept 2-0. The second game was against the Lady Panthers of Klein Oak. Cameron was swept by Klein Oak 2-0, losing the first set 25-13 and the second set 25-7. Their final game of the day was the Willis Lady Kats. Cameron was swept by Willis 2-0, losing the first set 25-11 and the second set 25-14.
The Lady Yoe played two games on Friday; the first was a matchup with the Montgomery Lady Bears. Cameron was swept by the Lady Bears 2-0, losing the first set 25-8 and the second set 25-16. The second game was against the Huntsville Lady Hornets. Cameron was swept by Huntsville 2-0, losing the first set 25-18 and the second set 25-10. The Lady Yoe had one game on Saturday against the Klein Oak Lady Panthers. Cameron was swept by Klein Oak 2-0, losing the first set 25-17 and the second set 25-20.
Up next for the Lady Yoe, they will be playing in an in season tournament hosted by China Spring. Details regarding their games and game times are yet to be announced.
