Cameron without water due to line break (UPDATE - Water is back on)

The water is back on after a major line break in Cameron this morning.

Water service returned around 1 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 11. Mayor Bill Harris said it may take a little while for the water towers to fill up.

A major water line break has Cameron without water this morning - Monday, Sept. 11.

The City of Cameron said you may experience low water pressure due to the break.

Crews are working diligently to fix the issue. Please conserve water as much as possible.

A boil water notice will be in effect once water leak is restored.

Cameron ISD has cancelled classes today due to the water issue.
