The Yoe Band performs during halftime on Friday night in Academy. The band received second place at the Lost Pines Marching Festival on Saturday. The band began its marching contest season with this contest. They will compete at the Regional Contest on Oct. 18 in Troy for the chance to move on to Area. Area contest is on Oct. 28 in China Spring and the State contest in on Nov. 8 at the Alamodome in San Antonio.
