43rd Annual Central Texas Cow-Calf Clinic
The 43rd annual Central Texas Cow-Calf Clinic will be held on Thursday, Jan. 11, at the Milam County Youth Exposition Building in Cameron. Registration will begin at 7:30 a.m. with the program to start at 8 a.m.
For more than four decades, cattlemen and women in Central Texas have benefited from the education this multi-county event provides.
Speakers and topics will include: “2024 Beef Cattle Market Update and What Can We Expect to Pay for Replacements?” – Dr. Jason Johnson, “Pasture Restoration & Reestablishment Following Drought” – Dr. Vanessa Olson, “Planning for Extended Winters: Feed Alternatives, Barn and Equipment Prep, etc.” – Dr. Ron Gill, “Live Herd Health Demonstration: What Needs to be Done, Why to Do It, and the Value it Adds” – Dr. Jason Cleere, and “Meet the Vets; Veterinarian Panel Discussion Over VCPR, Antibiotic Use, Reproduction, and More” – Dr. Tommy Barton DVM, Dr. Trey Richter DVM, Dr. Jared Ranly DVM, Dr. Eric Clemons DVM.
The Clinic will also host an industry trade show with influential companies and organizations that are a part of the beef cattle industry. Door prizes and special offers from the vendors will be drawn at the conclusion of the day.

A registration fee of $20 will be charged. This fee goes to offset the cost of a catered lunch, refreshments, and printed materials handed out at the program. Pre-registration is important for an accurate meal count and to assure we have enough printed material. RSVP Deadline will be Monday, Jan. 4.
