ROCKDALE MAN ARRESTED, CHARGED IN CHILD PORN CASE

A Rockdale man is behind bars after an early morning multi-agency raid.
The Milam County Sheriff’s Office, in cooperation with Rockdale Police and the Texas Attorney General’s Office, executed a search warrant at 7:55 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 1, at a home in the 700 block of
Rockdale West Road.
Milam County Sheriff Mike Clore had deputies conduct the search warrant following a cyber tip that brought on an investigation into child pornography that was uploaded to a cloud storage account. At the location, deputies arrested 51-year-old James Ray Brandt on 10 counts of Possession of Child Pornography. Brandt is booked into Milam County Jail. There were no injuries reported and no other information is being released at this time.
