Albina Helen Vansa Vrazel

Albina Helen Vansa Vrazel, 86, of Yarrellton, passed away June 26, 2019, in a Temple Hospital. 

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 2, 2019, at Sts. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church in Marak. Burial will follow in the Sts. Cyril & Methodius Cemetery. Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Monday at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home.

Mrs. Vrazel was born March 29, 1933, in the Red Ranger community of Bell County to John and Annie (Macek) Vansa. She married Anton Vrazel on May 7, 1952. She was a homemaker, farmer, and rancher.  She had worked in the kitchens of Cameron ISD for many years and had also worked in the Cameron Dress Factory.

She loved working in her flower garden, especially her rose bushes. She also grew enough vegetables to feed the entire community. She definitely had a green thumb.

The love of her life was her family.  She treasured her children, grandchildren and most of all her husband of 67 years.

She was a member of Sts. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church where she had previously served in the Altar Society. She was a member of KJZT #21 and of SPJST Lodge #15. 

She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Lisa Marie Wilde; and by four siblings, Tony Mitchell, Emil Vansa, Anton Vansa and Mary Ann Vrazel.

She is survived by: husband, Anton Vrazel of Yarrellton; daughters, Linda M. Vrazel Wilde of Cyclone, and Rose Marie Vrazel of Temple; brother, Steve Vansa of Temple; and two grandchildren, Jennifer Everett and Justin Everett.
