She owned and operated Thorndale Family Hair Salon in downtown Thorndale in the late 1980’s. She enjoyed shopping and anything sweet, especially her Blue Bell ice cream and Diet Coke. Betty also enjoyed keeping up with her many friends and family by way of social media, and she was always known to pass a funny email along to everyone she knew. But the most enjoyment she received in this life was seeing her kids and grandkids grow up, and then getting to meet her great-grandchildren. She loved watching her grandkids play sports and enjoyed keeping them well-fed with her amazing cooking.
