Dorothy Ann Mueck

Dorothy Ann Mueck, 83, of Bartlett and formerly of Cameron, died Friday, Jan. 29, 2021, in Bartlett. 

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2021. at St. Monica’s Catholic Church with Rev. Barry Cuba officiating. Burial will follow in the Sts. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Cemetery in Marak. A rosary will be recited at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Monica’s Church prior to the Mass.

Mrs. Mueck, a homemaker, was born in the Marak community of Milam County on Aug. 3, 1937, to Frank Joe and Louise Mary (Sustek) Vansa.  She was a member of St. Monica’s Catholic Church. 

She is survived by: her husband, Edwin Mueck of Cameron; daughter, Diane Evans and husband Terry; sons, Larry Kropp and fiancé Pamela Martin of Belton, and John Kropp and wife Lora of Thorndale; brothers, Eugene Stanly Vansa and wife Verna of Cameron, and Billy Vansa and wife Evelyn of Temple; sisters, Evely Bravenec of Seaton, and Margie Summer of New Caney; four grandchildren; five grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.

Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home of Cameron is in charge of arrangements.
