Edna Jean Lewis

Services for Edna Jean Lewis, age 70, of Rockdale, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 24, 2020, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale with Rev. E.M. “Mike” Thrash of East Houston Baptist Church officiating. Burial is in the Milano Cemetery. Visitation will also be Monday from 12:30 p.m. until service time at 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

Edna Jean Lewis was born June 16, 1949, in Milano to James “Tom” and Margie Nell (Parker) Hutto. On February 10, 1967, she and Emmett Lewis were married in the Milano Baptist Church. She was a homemaker.

Edna passed away at her home in Rockdale on Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2020.

Surviving are her husband Emmett Lewis of Rockdale; sons, Scott Lewis and wife Brook of Rockdale, Emmett Lewis Jr. and wife Sharon of Milano, and Mark Lewis of Canton; sister, Shirley Nowicki of Brenham; brother, James Hutto of Milano; and grandchildren, Scott Ray Lewis Jr., Bryan Lewis, Jamie Nicole Lewis, Dillon Yung, and Sierra Yung.

Serving as pallbearers are Scott Lewis, Mike Moreno, Scottie Lewis, Bryan Lewis, Samuel Molina II, Mark Lewis.

Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home of Rockdale is in charge of arrangements.
