Elizabeth Anna Egger

Elizabeth Anna Egger, 87, of Cameron and formerly of Clarence, N.Y., died Thursday, Aug.t 25, 2022, in a Temple hospital.  

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 2, 2022, at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron. Burial will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be Thursday, Sept. 1, 2022, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Egger, a homemaker, was born Feb. 15, 1935, in Brooklyn, N.Y., to John and Violet (Milligan) Fannin. She married John A. Egger on Aug. 31, 1957 and had worked as an executive secretary for several years.  

She was preceded in death by her sister, Evelyn Jay.  

Survivors include: her husband, John A. Egger of Cameron; sons, John Egger and wife Karen of Cameron, William (Bill) Egger and wife Debra of Cookeville, Tenn., and David Egger and wife Sheila of Belton; daughter, Jean Carolus and husband Steve of Bemus Point, N.Y.; 13 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron is in charge of arrangements.
