Eula Faye Holt

Ms. Eula Faye Holt was born on May 12, 1942, in Branchville, to Floyd and Lucille (Singletary) Holt. She attended School in Branchville.

She united with Sweet Home AME Church at an early age and was a faithful member until 2007.  She moved to Cameron and joined Jerusalem Baptist Church where she was a faithful member and had served as an usher, until her health failed.

She worked at Ideal Poultry Farms for several years and several years at Colonial and Cameron Nursing Home.

She departed this life at Continuing Care Hospital in Temple on June 11, 2019.  She was preceded in death by her mother and father, 6 brothers, 2 sisters and one son.  

She leaves to cherish sweet memories, one daughter, Ruth Faye Holt (De), 9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Services will be 11 a.m., Saturday, June 22, 2019, at Union Ridge Baptist Church in Maysfield and burial will follow in the Milam Grove Cemetery.

Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home of Cameron is in charge of arrangements.
