_{Eva Borgas, 82, of Cameron died Friday, Oct. 1, 2021, in a Temple hospital.}

_{Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 12, at St. Monica’s Catholic Church.  A rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m. at the church.  A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Monday at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home.}

_{Mrs. Borgas, a housewife, was born Feb. 1, 1939, in San Antonio to Ramon and Josefa (Viarrial) Valdez.  She married Frank Borgas.  She was a member of St. Monica’s Catholic Church.}

_{She is survived by: her husband, Frank Borgas Sr. of Cameron; sons, Frank Borgas Jr. and wife Alice of Branchville, John Robert Borgas of Cameron, Raymond Borgas of Cameron, Rudy Borgas of Cameron, and Mark Anthony of Cameron; daughter, Linda Martinez and husband Felipe Jr. of Waelder; brothers, Jimmy Valdez of Florida, Raul Valdez of Georgia; sisters, Olivia Salas of Florida and Sally Hernandez of Florida; 17 grandchildren;  41 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.}
