Helen Mary Koenig Woytek

Helen Mary Koenig Woytek, 83, of Cameron, died Sunday, June 7, 2020, in a Temple hospital. 

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, June 12, 2020, at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home. Burial will follow in St. Monica’s Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Friday prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Woytek, a retired Texas Home Health Care worker, was born June 24, 1936, in Buckholts to Ernest and Vlesta (Macha) Koenig. She married Maurice Woytek and he preceded her in death in 2013. 

She is survived by: sons, Mark Smith of Cameron and Bobby Smith of Brownwood; step-sons, Anthony Woytek of Temple, David Woytek of Temple, Michael Woytek of Belton, and Tim Woytek of Temple; step-daughter, Becky Knight of Rosenberg; sisters, Rosalie Holtsman of Bandera and Gladys Hailes of Cedar Park; three grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and two step-great- grandchildren.

Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home of Cameron is in charge of arrangements.
