_{Idlefousa Garcia, 82, of Cameron, died Thursday, Dec. 23, 2021, in a Cameron nursing facility.}  

_{Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 29, at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron.  Burial will follow in the St. Monica Catholic Cemetery.  Rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home.}

_{Ms. Garcia was born Jan. 23, 1939, in Sharp to Florencio and Felicitas (Gomez) Garcia.  She had worked at several restaurants in Cameron for many years and had attended St. Monica Catholic Church.}  

_{She was preceded in death by four brothers and sisters and is survived by her sister, Lupe Villanueva and several nieces and nephews.}
