Jerry Fritz Wesley Pratt

Jerry Fritz Wesley Pratt, 53, of Houston and formerly of Cameron, died Friday, Oct. 2, 2020, in a Houston hospital. 

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 10, 2020, at Marlow Cemetery.  Burial will follow in the Marlow Cemetery near Cameron.

Mr. Pratt, owner and operator of Chaparral Pools in Houston, was born July 18, 1967, in Cameron, to Larry Eldridge and Sherry Ann (Davis) Pratt. He was a 1985 Yoe High graduate. He worked for several companies before going business for himself.  He worked for Balt/Best Rite in Temple, Howell Equipment in Danville, Illinois, Captiol Seating in Belton, Paragon Funrture in Arlington, School Specialty in Atlanta, GA and Aquascapes Pools & Spas in Tomball.

He married Elizabeth Boutwell on Oct. 13, 2015. In his younger years he had served on the Volunteer Fire Department.  He was a volunteer with the Houston Rodeo Association and a member of San Andres Masonic Lodge. 

Jerry is survived by: his wife, Elizabeth Pratt of Houston; son, Jackson Edward Capps Pratt of Austin; daughters, Jocelyn Lee Pratt of Dallas, Kaitlyn Faith Pratt of Galveston, and Emmie Nicole Pratt of College Station; parents, Larry and Sherry Pratt of Cameron; grandfather, Wesley Eldridge Pratt of Cameron; and brother, Barry Eldridge Pratt of Salado.
