Joann Glaser

Joann Glaser, 79, of Temple, died Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2022, at a local care center. 

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2022, at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Greathouse Cemetery.

Mrs. Glaser was born on Nov. 3, 1942, in Cameron to the late Joe Rozner Sr. and Matilda Josephine Zavrel Rozner. She attended schools in Cameron and graduated from Cameron High School in 1961. She married Alfred Glaser Jr. on Sept. 21, 1963, at First Lutheran Church in Temple. 

Joann started working for Temple Tag in 1978 and retired in 2008 after 30 years. She loved gardening and spending time with her family. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Louis Rozner; and by a grandchild, Dwayne Glaser Jr.

Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Alfred Glaser Jr.; her sons, Dwayne Glaser Sr. and Curtis Glaser and wife Clara; brothers, Leo Rozner and Joe Rozner Jr. and wife Janice; and by grandchildren, Michael Glaser and Jamie Hodges; and great-grandchildren, Oliver Hodges and Everett Hodges.

The family would like to extend their appreciation to the nurses and staff at Cornerstone Gardens in Temple and to Scott and White Hospice for the dedication and care given to Joann.
