JoAnna Rackley

JoAnna Rackley, 58, of Brazoria and formerly of Cameron, died Sunday, July 21, 2019, as the result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Santa Fe.  Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 30, at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron with Rev. Tim Cheatham officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from noon until service time at the funeral home.

JoAnna was born June 1, 1961, in Fort Campbell, Ken., to John and Lynda (Broadway) Brooks. She married Ronnie Rackley and had worked at Classic Bank in Cameron and Heritage Bank in Brazoria.

JoAnna was preceded in death by her father, John Brooks; and by her brother, John Brooks Jr. 

She is survived by: husband, Ronnie Rackley of Brazoria; sons, Joseph Rackley of Brazoria, Jerome Rackley of Killeen, and Jason Rackley of Brazoria; daughter, Amanda Epperson of Belton; mother, Lynda Satcher of Cameron; sisters, Flake Charanza of Cameron and Lynn Brooks of Cameron; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren

Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home of Cameron is in charge of arrangements.
