John Earl Barron

John Earl Barron, 66, of Frisco and formerly of Cameron passed away unexpectantly, Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2022, in a Frisco hospital.  

Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 24, at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron.

John was born Oct. 27, 1955, in Milam County to Noah Earl (Peanut) and Edith (Walton) Barron.  He attended C.H. Yoe High School and University of Mary Hardin Baylor. He married  Kim Sommers on March 3rd 1979.  John had worked for many years for the Cameron Housing Authority and for Glass the Florist.  He also worked as a professional baseball scout for many years. 

John is survived by: his wife, Kim Barron of Frisco; daughter, Ashley Elliott and husband Matt of Frisco; and two grandchildren, Olivia and Hadley Elliott.

Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron is in charge of arrangements.
