Juanita Juarez Rangel
Juanita Juarez Rangel, 74, of Cameron died Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2021, at her home.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 18, at St. Monica’s Catholic Church with Rev. Barry Cuba officiating. Burial will follow at the Hernandez Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 4-6 p.m. with a rosary at 5 p.m. at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home.
Mrs. Rangel, a homemaker, was born Sept. 3, 1946, in Robstown to Eleno Juarez and Aurora Vargas. She married Juan Rangel Sr. on March 25, 1960, and he preceded her in death. She was Catholic.
She is also preceded in death by sons, Ines Rangel, Rudolpho Rangel and Javier Rangel; and a great-grandson, Danny Perez.
She is survived by: sons, Juan Rangel Jr. of Cameron, Randy Rangel of Cameron, and Gabriel Rangel of Cameron; daughters, Olga Rodriguez of Temple, Dora Rangel of Okeene, Okla., and Rachel Avila of Buckholts; brothers, Paul Juarez of Hereford, Gilbert Juarez of Hereford, and Onesimo Juarez of Hereford; and sisters, Mary Galan of Twin Falls, Idaho, Delia Lucero of Las Vegas, N.V., Gracie Condarco of Grand Prairie, and Elena Garcia of Odem; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home of Cameron is in charge of arrangements.
