Lara Jane Palm

Lara Jane Palm, 39, went home to be with Jesus on June 3, 2019.  She was born on Jan. 10, 1980, in Houston, Texas. She brought much joy to all who knew her.  Lara had a beautiful smile and the light of Jesus in her eyes.

Lara is survived by her grandmother, Dorothy Palm; parents, David and Patsy Palm; beloved son, Levi; sister, Monica (Palm) Leatherwood; brother-in-law, Steven Leatherwood; nephew, Steven Leatherwood Jr.; and many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ruth Hengst, Clarence Hengst and Raymond Palm.

Laura graduated from the University of Houston-Downtown, where she studied Marketing.  She was dedicated to her family and friends whom she lived dearly and brought her much joy.  The joys of her life were her son, Levi and nephew, Steven Jr.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday, June 7, 2109, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Thorndale with Pastor Aaron Kalbas officiating. Burial will follow in the Thorndale City Cemetery in Thorndale.
