Manuel Contreras

Manuel Contreras, 44, of Cameron, died Thursday, April 18, 2019, in a Temple hospital. 

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m.Wednesday, April 24, at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron. Burial will follow in the Hernandez Cemetery in Cameron. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Manuel, a maintenance man for the Cameron Housing Authority, was born Oct. 2, 1974, in Cameron to Ralph and Rosa Contreras. 

He is survived by: his daughters, Jada and Lilianna Contreras of Fort Worth; his parents; Rosa and Ralph Contreras Sr. of Cameron; grandfather, Matilde Rangel of Cameron; brother, Ralph Contreras Jr. of Cameron; sister, Emma Bedford and husband Reggie of Minneapolis, Minn.; fiancé, Donna Beasley Contreras of Cameron; nieces, Melinda and Miranda Contreras; nephews, Andy and Isaiah Contreras and RJ Bedford; and grandbabies, Gracelyn, Jayln, Aden, Levi Beasley and Charles Rosier Jr.

Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home of Cameron is in charge of arrangements.
