Marie Kaulfus

Marie Kaulfus, 94, of Cameron and formerly of Temple, died Thursday, Feb. 11, 2021, in a Cameron nursing facility. 

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 20, 2021, at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron with Rev. Terry Adkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Seaton Cemetery near Temple. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Kaulfus, a homemaker and farmer, was born Dec. 21, 1926, in Caldwell to Joe G. and Albina (Lesikar) Chaloupka, one of eleven children. She married Friedrich Kaulfus on June 5, 1948, and he preceded her in death in 2012. She was a life-long member of Salem Lutheran Church near Barclay.

She was also preceded in death by her ten siblings. 

She is survived by: son, Ronald Kaulfus and wife Irene of Cameron; grandchildren, Ashley and Aaron Good, Aaron Kaulfus and Austin and Shelby Kaulfus; three great-grandchildren,  Trinity Good, Jase Chaney and Emory Kaulfus.
