Octaviano Salomon

Octaviano Salomon, 63, of Cameron died Saturday, July 6, 2019, in a Temple hospital. 

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, July 12, 2019, at St. Monica’s Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Cameron. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home with a wake service at 7 p.m.

Mr. Salomon, a boilermaker, was born Jan. 31, 1956, in San Pedro, Mexico, to Pablo Salomon and Margarita Calzada Salomon. He married Maria Arratia. 

He is survived by: wife, Maria Salomon; sons, Octaviano Salomon Jr., Juan Salomon, and Rodrigo Luna; daughters, Samantha Salomon, Brenda Salomon, and Heidi Proctor; brothers, Dionicio Salomon; sisters, Anita Arriaga, Margarita Salomon, and Juanela Salomon; and eight grandchildren.

Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home of Cameron is in charge of arrangements.
