Ray Morris Coward, 70, of Cameron passed away peacefully, Thursday, June 23, 2022, at his home. Services are pending with Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron.
Mr. Coward was born July 17, 1951, in Cameron to William Morris and Ruby (Harris) Coward. He married Lucy Buttery. He retired from Alcoa in Rockdale. Mr. Coward was a member of Marlow Baptist Church where he served as Deacon. He was a member of Kairos Prison Ministries.
He is survived by: his wife, Lucy Coward of Cameron; son, Jamie Ray Coward of Cameron; daughter, Amanda Stanfield of Stephenville; and sister, LaTrelle Good of Levelland.
