Ronald Dean McCall

Ronald Dean McCall, proud patriot and U.S. Navy Veteran entered into eternal rest on March 18, 2021. Ron was the first of eight children born Nov. 23, 1958, in Cameron, to the late Billy Dean McCall and Mittie Lou (Clinard) McCall.  

At the age of 17, Ron enlisted in the U.S. Navy wherein he served his country until 1980. Shortly after, he relocated to Macon, Ga., where he met his wife and raised his two daughters. Ron later moved to Savannah, Ga., where he worked for Gulfstream Aerospace as an electronic technician. Ron was a devoted husband and father. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and was an avid gun enthusiast. 

He is survived by his wife Donna (Higgins) McCall; daughters, Brittany McCall (Tate) and Brooklynn McCall; brothers, Billy McCall (Mary), James McCall (Kelli), Thomas McCall (Cindy), and Richard McCall; sisters, Joyce McCall and Brenda O’Hair. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Donna Sue McCall.

A private service for the family will be held at a later date. Thomas C. Strickland and Sons in Rincon are handling all arrangements.
