Theresa Agnes Mueck

Theresa Agnes Mueck, 96, of Dripping Springs and formerly of Cameron, died Monday, Dec. 21, 2020, at her home. 

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2020, at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron with Rev. Dimitrij Colankin officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Monica’s Catholic Cemetery.

Ms. Mueck, was the first born to Louis W. and Louisa (Michalka) Mueck on their family farm in the Salem Community near Cameron on Aug. 10, 1924. In 1957 she moved to Austin. She first worked at the Texas School for the Deaf for two years and then for the University of Texas, retiring after a 30-year career in Food Services.   At that time, she moved back home to help care for her aging parents. In later years she moved to Dripping Springs to live with her sister Pauline Ford, who lovely cared for her until the Lord called her home. She was a member of St. Monica’s Catholic Church. 

She was preceded in death by five siblings, Lawrence F. Mueck, Bernard Louis Mueck, Frank B. Mueck, Victor L. Mueck and Marie Mueck Gallant.

She is survived by Pauline Mueck Ford of Dripping Springs, and several nephews and nieces.

Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home of Cameron is in charge of arrangements.
