Wallace Eugene Massengale

Wallace Eugene Massengale, 93, of Cedar Park and formerly of Milam County, died Sunday, Jan. 9, 2022, in a Round Rock hospital.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 15, 2022, at Little River Cemetery near Jones Prairie.

Mr. Massengale was born Aug. 29, 1928, in Milam County to Eldread Langford and Marguerite (McCullogh) Massengale. He graduated from C. H. Yoe High School. He was a U. S. Army veteran of the Korean War.  He married Gloria Gray and she preceded him in death in 2009. He retired from Gulf Oil Co.

He was also preceded in death by three sisters, Mary Lou Baird, Dorothy Jane Barton and Marguerite Tabor. 

Survivors include: his brother, Jack Massengale of Wimberley; and sisters, Carolyn Weeren and husband Ed of Austin, and Linda Jaresh and husband Wesley of Garland.

Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home of Cameron is in charge of arrangements.
