William R. DeBaggis Jr.

William R. DeBaggis Jr., 72, of Cameron passed from this life on Oct. 23, 2019, in Temple.

Born on July 15, 1947, he was the son of William Sr. and Mary J. (Bernardo) DeBaggis of Brockton, Mass.

William was a hardworking man, known as the go-to guy in most situations, he never missed a day of work at either Texas Instruments or the Brookshire Brothers gas station. William also served his country as a member of the United States Army.

He was a talkative man who never met a stranger and knew a little bit about everything, making him a friend to all.  When he wasn’t working or helping others, William liked reading, watching crime shows such as Law & Order or old western movies.

William was preceded in death by his son, William DeBaggis; as well as his parents, William Sr. and Mary DeBaggis.

William leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved wife Roberta DeBaggis of Cameron; his sons, Tony DeBaggis and Matthew Lucier, both of Massachusetts; his daughter, Amy DeLong of Cameron; his siblings, Kathy Harnden, and Donald DeBaggis, both of Maine; as well as five grandchildren.

Services and interment of Mr. DeBaggis’ ashes will be held at a later date at the Massachusetts National Cemetery.

Hewett-Arney Funeral Home of Temple is entrusted with the arrangements.
